the results are in!!

Just 10 percent of the voters of the baby sex poll are correct with their predictions... We are having 3 GIRLS and 1 BOY!  Today's 2 hour full anatomy scan shows that all the babies are measuring the correct size and developing well.  They all look great and we couldn't be happier!!

Our oldest, Baby A, resembles her dad.  She seems spunky, and was busy kicking her sisters today.  She is in the lowest position and is the one causing me to have to pee every 15 minutes. :)

Baby B and C are both lodged in the middle and laying horizontally.  They seem to be our mellow girls, and were passing the time sucking their thumbs and waving to us.

Last but certainly not least, is Baby D, our boy.  He is the most active one.  The ultrasound tech spent almost 30 minutes just trying to get him to stay still long enough to get his heart measurement.  He already reminds me of my very active nephew, Neil!

  1. That boy is in for it! Not only is he the only guy, he's going to be the "youngest"! :-)

This is all great news - congrats!!!

  2. If he is like Neil may I suggest a few baby containment device, baby proofing, 911 on speed dial, and learning the maxim "stop doing stuff"!

  3. Oh Lauren, I couldn't be happier!! I am so happy the babies are so healthy and active. It's so exciting that you know all the sexes, now you can really lock down some names. Stay healthy and rested and I look forward to your next update.

  6. Hey Lauren and Josh,

    Awesome looking site!

Avery prays diligently for your growing babies at dinner prayer at bedtime prayer.

Last night when the kids heard the babies were 5 oz, they said - hey just like a pinewood derby car! Claire, Hannah and Ian are all building cars to race in the next 2 weekends.

    God Bless,

    John

  7. It's great to hear from you and I'm glad you are doing so well. I live about an hour and a half south of Tampa. I'm also glad to hear that you are having 3 girls and 1 boy as I did. I would be happy to pass along my kids clothes if you are interested. I pretty much have matching outfits. Mine have out grown the preemie clothes and are now in newborn (at 3 months old!)
