A close friend of ours, Morgan, was recently diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease called Juvenile Myositis. There are very few kids diagnosed with Myositis each year; therefore, pharmaceutical companies do not put a lot of R&D into JM. It’s very unfortunate, but that hasn’t stopped Morgan and her family from dedicating themselves to raising awareness and money for CureJM.
TBO.com: Little girl's mission - A Pasco county girl is on a mission to inform others on the disease that has isolated her from having an active life.
Take a minute to learn more about Morgan and how JM has changed her life: http://www2.tbo.com/video/2010/nov/23/little-girls-mission-01128/video-news/
Morgan was already successful in winning the Pepsi Refresh Grant this August for $250,000 that went to CureJM. Morgan’s Mom, Amy, and the rest of the Wesley Chapel Tri Team have been training to run a full marathon to also raise money for a cure. Click here for more info and to donate.
Are you local to Tampa Bay?? Please come out to Sweet Tomatoes on N. Dale Mabry on Monday, November 29th from 5-8pm for a CureJM Fundraiser. Have dinner there and twenty percent of the sales generated that evening will go right to CureJM. Email me if you want more info!
Please help out by spreading the word and helping them raise money for CureJM in Morgan's Honor!
