How many weeks? I am 35 weeks! Who knows now big Taylor is now, since the doc said she was about 5 1/2 pounds 3 weeks ago. Could I really have a 9 pounder in about a month?!? I was almost a 10 pound baby, so anything is possible!
How am I feeling? I’m still feeling good. The tiredness has hit me again, but other than that I feel really normal. I am getting antsy and wishing Taylor would come sooner than later, but I can wait. Whatever is best for her. I have endured way worse before, so waiting a few more weeks for my full term baby is nothing. I know so many people that would give anything to be 35 weeks pregnant and going strong, so I will not take this for granted.
Doctor’s Appointment? I have a standard OB appointment this week and go back for a final ultrasound next week with my Peri. I can’t wait to see her again! Last week was my last progesterone shot! WooHoo!
Baby Preparation? Baby Shower – check! Baby laundry – check! Now all that’s left is to re-pack our hospital bag and wait for the contractions to start! (I had packed a hospital bag at 17 weeks because I wanted to be ready in case I was admitted to the hospital. Thank God, we never needed that, so now I am going to repack it in preparation for delivery!)
That picture of you in the nursery is beautiful! I'm not sure how it's possible to be SO happy for complete strangers, but I am! :)
ReplyDeleteI know that loss is common between us and to see you have a healthy and so fa successful pregnancy is how I can be happy for you lauran, even if we've never met in person.
ReplyDeleteYour photo is darling and you just radiate love and appreciation for this bundle....taylor.

Felicia

ReplyDeleteBtw, from your last post, I was in Target yesterday, and I saw a mom with that stroller you were talking about! I ALMOST went up to her and asked how she likes it and if she would recommend it but I didn't! :( Phoey! But I surely htought of you! I love the stroller look, but so sad to hear about the downside of it! I commented on the post but for some reason I dont think it went through or let me do it , I was so mad ! ha ANyways, I hope it works out for you either way! Its super cute tho!
Great news!! I love all the pictures you've been posting from your maternity shoot! What great memories of this special time!! Enjoy these last few weeks.
ReplyDeleteLauren,
ReplyDeleteI read your blog a year or so back and was heart broken by your loss yet found strength in your ability to turn things completely over to God. I ran across it again today while visiting the Cochran Crew's site thru another friend (funny how blogs work like that huh) and saw you are expecting a beautiful baby girl here in a few weeks! I wanted to pass along my congrats to you and best wishes and will be sure to check back often to see your beautiful Taylor! :)
girl, you look AMAZING!!! your weight gain is perfect, and don't worry too much about the hips - they might not go all the way back to normal, but most of the way, for sure!! :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteWoo-Hoo 35 weeks you are getting closer and closer. The nursery pic is very BEAUTIFUL. Your glowing as always Lauren!!
ReplyDeleteThere should be no reason for you to go to full term with this baby since you are only having one baby. Your body is not meant to carry so many babies so its good that you are only carrying one this time.
ReplyDeleteWell, this is just precious - you, the room, the belly - EVERYTHING!
