Hey Everyone! I’m still here despite my MONTH long blogging hiatus. Gosh, where has the time gone??
I’ve been busy with a lot of things… moving my blog, work, family, LIFE…. you know, all that fun stuff. Anyway, if any of you are still out there and reading… I’m back! I think, anyway.
I’ve been enjoying spending lots of time at my parents “Farm” lately. It is such a beautiful , one-of-a-kind place. I vacationed here when I was a kid to visit my grandparents, and now my parents are retired and have built a house here! So now, I’ve got my parents here, my Grandparents who live next door, and my aunt and uncle who also live next door!
We call it The Farm because of all there is to do and see here. First of all… just to get here, you‘ve got to slooowly drive down a dirt road…
And watch out for the bears!
It wouldn’t truly be a farm without a red barn, John Deer tractors, and cows for neighbors!
There are six acres of pristine land that is shaded by old oak trees, overlooking a lake.
To make it even better, the legal driving age at The Farm is around 3 years old! All the kids love it! :)
To ring in the Fall season, my friends and I had a good ole fashioned weenie roast around the bonfire. (Except I actually cooked the weenies on the grill :))
For dessert, we had s’mores of course! This was the first time for the kids to roast marshmallows, so it was a big deal!
And that’s it folks! Just another great day on The Farm!
We love the farm and you and Taylor!
