Tuesday

Hey Everyone!   I don't have much to report today, other than I am feeling a little better.  It's been such a roller coaster.  One day I am a complete wreck, and the other I am feeling well.  I am just trying to focus on the positive in all this.  I desperately want to know the "meaning" behind why we are going through this, but hopefully that will come in time...  I have peace in knowing that God will never give us more than we can handle.

Josh stayed with me today and worked from the hospital room.  Mom and Dad came by for a visit too.  We all went outside to the L&D patio and ate lunch.  If you live in the area you already know this, but the weather was perfect today!  It was nice to get out and get some fresh, non-hospital room, air.  After lunch we came back to my room and all played a game of Scrabble together.  It was a good way to pass the time.

I hope you are all doing well today.  Please keep up the prayers for us and the Beans.

Love you all,

  3. We played LOTS of Gin Rummy when I was in the hospital. As a matter of fact, my mom and I played last night. It brought back memories. Hope tomorrow is a lovely day for you.

  4. Hi Lauren, this is Allison & Mike's sister-in-law Melanie. I'm so glad you & Josh have such wonderful family and friends to support you and keep your spirits up. I say a prayer everyday for you and your green beans. I hope that these days and weeks go by quickly.

  5. When bad things happen I remind myself that you can't have joy without some sorrow, kind of like you can't have night without day. Love you pal!

  6. I found your blog from the Urcech Quads. I prom'd with my first twin pregnancy at 18w. Never lose hope or your faith. It is all you have. I am sure you have searched PROM, but maybe not. You should join the PROM list at www.kanalen.org It is a wealth of information and support. I wish you all the best. You are in my prayers.

  7. I found your blog through Cameron's mom. Just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you. I became pregnant with triplets after 3 years of fertility treatments. I miscarried Baby B around 8 weeks, but continued to do well with my twins. I unexpectedly went into preterm labor and gave birth to my son, Logan, and daughter, Olivia, at 23 weeks, 1 day. Yes, some places don't consider a baby viable until 24 weeks, but we demanded that they do everything that they could. My son, Logan, lived for only 1 month and 1 day. I miss him every day. My daughter, Olivia, beat all of the odds and came home from the hospital after 105 days on Dec. 10, 2007. She is a healthy, very happy, thriving 1+ year old now. It's been a very difficult journey, but miracles happen and I will continue praying for you and all of your babies.

    God Bless,
    Jodi
