During this vacation, we intended on hiring a photographer to come shoot some family photos at the house, but never got around to it. So, as we were setting up around the campfire the other night, we noticed that the sunlight was perfect and so was the view. I set up my camera on a tree stump, set the timer, and we all said “cheese”!. Our impromptu family photo shoot turned out perfect! It is so us. We aren’t the type to get all dressed up in our coordinating outfits for a family picture – this really captured “us”…
After we took the family photos we enjoyed making s’mores by the campfire. I snapped a few more pictures and I think this picture of Neil should be the next s’mores ad…
Priceless smile.
Seriously enjoying the chocolate.
Just precious.
Me, being silly as usual…
Auntie Traci and Shanny enjoying their treat…
Our campfire night was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Wow Neil looks similar to our little Cam (even though Neil is older). Looks like everyone had a great time, I'm glad you took time to enjoy yourselves, we're so jealous!
ReplyDeleteOh my heck the one of Neil is a hoot. He loved his "josh" hair that day.
ReplyDeletethanks for doing the family shot. I dropped the ball big time on the pro. But really we wouldn't have had time to get all fussy. The backdrop was perfect. Send me the edited pic and I will get copies for everyone.
I'm so happy that you were able to have such a great vacation to catch up with your family! It's so rare when a big group is able to get away together & it's awesome that you guys had this chance!
