This past week my Grandpa turned 90! Anyone who’s met him knows how young at heart and spunky he is. He is in better health than some 60 year olds. He’s been married to the love of his life for 60+ years! He is a proud father of four, grandfather to 10, great grandfather to 16, and has 4 angel great grandbabies!
He literally still runs and plays with the great grandkids when they visit! He also does something active every day, like moving his 6 acre lawn, maintenance on the house, gardening, etc. What an amazing and blessed life he is living!
On his actual birthday, my parents, aunt & uncle, Josh and I took my Grandparents out for dinner.
Last Sunday, my Mom & Dad threw Papa a surprise party! 40 or so of his friends came over for lunch after church. He said it was the biggest birthday party he’s ever had! He loved the surprise and enjoyed all the fun!
Papa was so cute as he opened up and read every single birthday card that he got. It was quite entertaining!
We are all so lucky to have Papa in our lives. He brings us all so much joy and happiness! I look forward to celebrating his 100th birthday in 10 years!!!
