Taylor

Here are a few of the latest pics we got of Taylor yesterday.  She is one hyper little baby, constantly moving throughout the ultrasound!  Yesterday, she was working so hard on getting her hands in her mouth.  It looked like she was trying to suck her thumb.  Our little Paige did the same thing, so it’s cool to notice the similarities between Taylor and the Green Beans. She was also busy drinking amniotic fluid.  We all watched her in amazement as she open and closed her little mouth and swallowed the fluid.  It’s one of those little things that only parents can be amused by.  IMG_1083
We got a few 3D pictures, but they can be hard to decipher.  These are just pictures of the pictures because I was too lazy to actually scan them in, so they are a little hard to see.  In the picture below, she’s got her hands up near her head again working on getting those hands in her mouth.IMG_1085
My cervical check went great yesterday too!  It has measured consistently at 4.5 – 4.2cm, which is great!  A normal cervix length is about 3 cm.  Two weeks ago at my last check up, I had a Braxton-Hicks contraction while the technician was checking my cervical length and it actually measured 5.25cm!  Josh and I joke that I have the miraculous growing cervix! That’s really not an accurate measurement of my cervix since I was cramping at the time, but it’s good to know that my cervix got longer, not shorter, when I had the contraction.
Taylor already brings us so much joy and happiness in our lives.  She’s given me so much hope and has really turned things around for me.  I am so thrilled to be having an uneventful pregnancy.  I literally thank God for being able to get out of bed in the morning.  Going through all that we’ve experienced has really put things into perspective for us.  There’s no taking this for granted.  Everyday is a miracle!
