2nd Annual NYE Party!

This is the second year that we hosted a rockin’ New Years Eve party at our place.

This year we did a few things to make the party even more special.  First, when I sent out the evite, I asked all the guests to RSVP with a few of their favorite songs of 2010.  I made a rockin’ playlist that kept us going all night from a compilation of the songs people suggested and some of my party favorites.  As a party favor, I burned the playlist on CDs for everyone to take home with them.

I also put together a montage of pictures of the fun memories our group of friends made throughout 2010.  It was fun to watch the slideshow of pictures and laugh at all the fun times we’ve had.

This New Years Eve was definitely different than years past.  I got to have a sober view at all the usual shenanigans that occur.  Josh was so sweet to make me virgin drinks all night.  He made up all sorts of concoctions so that I could feel like part of the party!

It was great having my fellow prego buddy, Holly, at the party too!  That’s baby Jackson in her belly.  I can’t wait to meet her little guy in about 4 more weeks!

    oh, that's awesome!!! i love your idea to make a cd of everyone's favorite songs. you are such a great hostess! (and yes, you look GORGEOUS- pink is such a great color on you!!!)
