I can’t tell you how thankful I am to have this sweet baby girl by my side this Thanksgiving. She is the light of my life and is my reminder every day that God is good! This is my first Thanksgiving with a baby in my arms, and no, not everything is how I planned it would be, but there is still so much to be thankful for. Over the past few years, I have learned first hand that things are not going to go how I plan; ultimately, all things are up to God and His will will be done.
Either way, however we got here, I am thankful for the life God has given me. I am beyond blessed in so many ways.
I guess it’s no surprise to hear that Taylor did wonderfully on her first plane trip. She sucked down a bottle at take-off and then slept the entire way! I couldn’t of asked for a better traveler! Despite flying on the ‘busiest traveling day of the year’, we somehow lucked out and had the whole row of seats to ourselves!
Here’s my big girl sitting in her very own seat on the plane, sporting her bed head and all!
Taylor got to meet all of her extended family on this trip, including lots of her little cousins (or maybe they’re second cousins, or second cousins once removed… something like that!)
Taylor also got to enjoy a delicious sweet potato Thanksgiving meal! I baked and blended sweet potatoes for her this week and she chowed down! She has proven to be a great eater too, loving everything I’ve offered to her so far.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
