Back From the Dead

It feels so good to return to a functioning member of society!

Taylor and I were both hit suddenly and hard with the flu!  On Monday morning, Taylor woke up with a 104.3 fever!  That was so scary!  After taking a cool bath and a dose of Mortin, her fever was down to 101 and I took her to the ER.  I don't mess with high fevers!  She looked so lethargic and listless; it was hard to watch.

It was a family affair in the ER as Tay's dad and little step-brother were all there also needing treatment for their flu and pneumonia!  While at the ER I could feel my flu quickly setting in.  I just couldn't wait until Taylor was taken care of and home resting so that I could then address my flu and get some meds... fast!  Luckily, we have a brand new hospital right across the street from the neighborhood and there was no wait!  We were in and out within 2 hours!

I got Taylor home and comfy on the couch and Grandma came to the rescue so that I could go to the walk-in clinic to get Tamiflu.  Thank God for Grgr to the rescue!  Mom's don't get sick days, so a little help was greatly needed and appreciated!

After a full week of fevers, coughing, and body aches - we're back to feeling like ourselves again!  Time to get our flu shots!

  1. Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that you guys were so sick!! The flu is miserable, so I'm happy to hear you're feeling better. We've all gotten our flu shot already except Mike, so fingers crossed he doesn't get it!!

  3. I am seconding Renia Flaishans, miss seeing posts. I have been keeping up to date with another quad mom and every single time I see an update from her I wish I knew how you were doing, how Taylor is doing and if your doing ok. I still to this day can not imagine the loss you endured and how it must affect your every day (jut missing them), your babies will NEVER be forgotten, you will never be forgotten and that sweet babygirl Tay will never be forgotten. I pray you are doing well and I just want you to know that you have always been such a inspiration to me in how you kept your faith and knew god had a plan <3

  5. Catching the flu is never a good thing. It makes one feel down and uneasy. Although it seems that Taylor is still her sweet self despite being down with the flu. How you took care of her just goes to show how good a mom you are. Take care!

  6. SHOULD CHILDREN BE SENTENCED TO DEATH WITHOUT A TRAIL BY STEVE FINNELL

Should unborn children be executed without a judge and twelve jurors sentencing them to death? Why do adults get their day in court, but the unborn are killed without a fair trial? Why are the unborn deemed worthy of death?

The advocates of abortion contend that unborn children are not human, but are simply nonhuman fetal tissue.

God make clear the life begins at conception.

Job 3:3 "May the day perish on which I was born. And the night in which it was said, 'A male child is conceived.'(NKJV)

    Children are children at conception.

Genesis 25:21-22 Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife , because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived. 22 But the children struggled together within her; and she said, "If all is well, why am I this way?" So she went to inquire of the Lord.(NKJV)

Rebekah do not conceive nonhuman fetuses. Children struggled in her womb.

Luke 1:36 "Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this now the sixth month for her who was called barren.(NKJV)

Elizabeth conceived a son. She did not conceive a nonhuman fetus.

Did the Virgin Mary conceive Jesus as the Son of God, or was Jesus a nonhuman blog, called a fetus? (Luke 1:30-31)

Since Roe v Wade 57 million unborn babies have been executed without appearing before a judge and a jury of their peers. What crime did those 57 million babies commit that they should be sentenced to death without a trial.
