wow! looks great lauren! i've always wanted to get into cake decorating...but i've got so many hobbies and projects already that if i started one more thing bobby's head just might explode! i think you've got a real knack for it.
I've never heard of a cake decorating party! Classes, yes. Party, no. You did a GREAT job!!! Hope it tasted as good as it looks! Have a great weekend!Love,Tonya
You must explain the party. I have never heard of one either. Is this something I have to look forward to?Joy
Yes, this is definately something to look forward too! A friend of a friend is a cake decorator, and she hosted this event. She made the cakes and rolled out the fontant. We got to decorate the cake from there. It was really fun! I made this particular cake for two of my neices that have b-days in July. I'll be seeing then in a couple of weeks. The cakes can be frozen up to 6 months too. It's actually a lot easier than it looks. I'd love to try it again!
Here comes a new addiction! Trust me it's addicting!
Looks awesome, but I'd have to taste it to make a truly well-informed decision :)
Is this someone in Tampa that does this? I love this idea and live in the area.
Lauren, I found you through the Crimquads blog! We had a family member that had an experience much like yours. I will put you and your family in our prayers. On a different note, that is an awesome looking cake. I never can make them look right!
