fondant night

I went to a cake decorating party tonight and made this brithday cake!

  6. Yes, this is definately something to look forward too! A friend of a friend is a cake decorator, and she hosted this event. She made the cakes and rolled out the fontant. We got to decorate the cake from there. It was really fun!

    I made this particular cake for two of my neices that have b-days in July. I'll be seeing then in a couple of weeks. The cakes can be frozen up to 6 months too.

    It's actually a lot easier than it looks. I'd love to try it again!

  10. Lauren, I found you through the Crimquads blog! We had a family member that had an experience much like yours. I will put you and your family in our prayers. On a different note, that is an awesome looking cake. I never can make them look right!
